    a) For their daily sustenance when they are alive; and
    b) A provider of link between the mortal and the immortal when prayers are offered to the departed souls.

MAsa SankramaNa (MAsa Pirappu) Prayer - Madhya Kailas

Madhya Kailas has a dedicated sannidhi for Sri Aadhithyan facing the eastern direction just opposite to the Si Parameswarar sannidhi.

Our foundation has in place the schedules to perform MAsa SankramaNam related prayers to Sri Aadhithyan, for the sake of all living beings – Chethana (Animate) & Achethana (Inanimate) vasthus.

Basis of Date Selection

1. If the month begins on the last day of any native month, after sun set of that day, then the MAsa SankramaNa prayer will be performed on the next day – the first date of a Tamil Month – around the time of Sun Rise.
2. If the month begins on the first day of any native month, after sun rise of that day, then the MAsa SankramaNa prayer will be performed on the same day – the first date of a Tamil Month – after the SankramaNam happens.
3. In those months that mark the beginning of DhakshinAyana PuNya KAlam (Kataka / Aadi) or UththarAyna PuNya KAlam(Makara / Thai), the prayers / tharpaNam shall be performed when the UththarAyna PuNya KAlam prevails.

Related Information

1. Sankalpam will be done ONLY in the name of the primary subscriber / person whose star is relevant for the event.
2. The event will be carried out even if the subscriber concerned or the nominees are unable to partake in the proceedings.
3. E mails / post will be sent to those who have e mail id, conveying registration details, advance event reminder and performance confirmation.
4. Sms prompters will be explored only for mobiles with Indian registration subject to TRAI regulations. If Sms is opted, it will be sent to only one person - either the primary devotee or the kith & kin - to be specified.
5. Archanai prasAdham will be mailed by ordinary post to the notified postal address.
6. PrasAdham will be distributed to the subscribing devotees / nominees if they attend, along with general devotees.
7. In case the name of the devotee subscriber needs to be excluded, for reasons like pollution on account of birth / death of kith or kin - the subscriber must inform the foundation immediately.
8. The performance will be carried out in the following native month.
9. In the most unfortunate event of demise, before the chosen event, of the primary subscriber the fact must be informed to the foundation by the concerned on time. The amount subscribed will be reimbursed to the legal claimant of the deceased. We sincerely wish that this situation does not arise.
