Sankatahara Chathurthi – In Madhya Kailas

At the behest of and as ordained by Sri Chandrasekara Saraswathi – the MahA PeriyavA of Kanchi Peetam – Madhya Kailas is an abode of deities under the GANApathya PanchAyathana kramam, with Lord Vigneswara in the name of Sree Ananda Vinayakar holding the moola sthAnam.

Established in the year 1983, under the Vaidheeha Prathishtai sampradhAyam, the moolasthAnam has two Moolavars – Ananda Vinayakar and Venkatesa Ananda Vinayakar.

A locational land mark in the city of Chennai – Madhya Kailas, administered by Sri Ananda Vinayakar Charitable Foundation, has addressed to the needs of the society in various ways in addition to being a place for prayers.

The Sankatahara Chathurthi proceedings are conducted strictly adhering to the prescriptions of sAsthrAs – important among them being the culmination of MahA DheepArAdhanai after sighting the moon – regardless of the time factor.

“Sankatahara Chathurthi pooja is complete only after sighting the moon on the day of KrishNa Paksha Chathurthi and then performing MahA DheepArAdhanam to Lord VigneswarA.” ---

Sankalpam will be done ONLY in the name of the primary subscriber / person whose star is relevant for the event.

The event will be carried out even if the subscriber concerned or the nominees are unable to partake in the proceedings.

E mails / post will be sent to those who have e mail id, conveying registration details, advance event reminder and performance confirmation.

Sms prompters will be explored only for mobiles with Indian registration subject to TRAI regulations. If Sms is opted, it will be sent to only one person - either the primary devotee or the kith & kin - to be specified.

Archanai prasAdham will be mailed by ordinary post to the notified postal address.

PrasAdham will be distributed to the subscribing devotees / nominees if they attend, along with general devotees.

In case the name of the devotee subscriber needs to be excluded, for reasons like pollution on account of birth / death of kith or kin - the subscriber must inform the foundation immediately.

The performance will be carried out in the following native month.

In the most unfortunate event of demise, before the chosen event, of the primary subscriber the fact must be informed to the foundation by the concerned on time. The amount subscribed will be reimbursed to the legal claimant of the deceased. We sincerely wish that this situation does not arise.
